Is this Home?

Posted on December 10, 2012January 21, 2018 by pranay

Its a long day
I’ve been up for long.
Have been running all along.
And now its starting to show

Been running to home, Yet
Cant find it where I left
Its empty and cold every time
I open the door

I walk in, slide my bag down
Turn on the lights and look
For warmth, For love and yet
The light is all I find

I close the door behind,
The wind is gone now
Yet the cold just stays

I turn on the heater
And look outside the door
The snow is starting to fall

I take out a bottle and pour some
Take a swig bare
The warmth is now starting to spread
And I lie down on bed

Then suddenly the door opens
And someone shouts
Who the hell are you
And what am I doing here

I get up and try to comprehend
The open bottle and the glass
The couch where I lay
Turns out it wasn’t home, after all!

    seems lyk

    In sunlyt searching the darkness
In happiness searching reason for sadness
things r satisfactory bt still satisfaction is nt dere

it’s called home bt still sumthg is missing

things r based on perception …

    gud1 🙂
