This Life

If only this warmth i feel
Was real, But not a cup
If only this moment i steal
Was real, but not an illusion

I need another life to live
A moment of thrill to explore
A million dollars to give
And do things like never before
I am bored of this reality
Of having nothing but pain
Of living in shadows, and in vain
I cant anymore!

I want to give up at times
Lose control and tear myself apart
Hold still while i explode within
And each heart beat strikes like a dart

In this life i have lost
A lot of things by myself
and by destiny, by reason
or without, and yet i walk on
without a track beneath my feet
And a sky above me almost grey
And all around,
i can see them waiting
For me to slip and fall!

Nervous footsteps, and a weight of past
Drags me slow in this life.
I wonder, should i give up?
And let the afterlife take over?

In this life, or next
All i want is one moment
Of belonging and comfort
Of having understood destiny

Hold me while i still am
Dont lose this moment now
And when i am finally gone
Let it be the moment of life
This Life!
