There is No One

Now, when i look outside
I can just see the darkness
Now, when i walk outside
I can feel the lonely footsteps

There is no one who would walk with me
Because our steps are so different
There is no one who would talk to me
Because what we say dont make sense

There is no one who would read my words
Because the meaning eludes them
There is no one who can hold my hand
Because it just wont fit in

There is no one, who feels what i feel
Because our minds are not one
There is no one, who would look into my eyes
Because there is nothing left to see

And yet they say,

I would walk with you
Because you walk through distinct places
I would talk to you
Because you use beautiful phrases

I would read your words
Because i get lost in them
I would feel what you feel
Because our hearts are one

I would hold your hand
Because i need your support
I would look into your eyes
Because that’s the only thing i want to do, in this life

I am not sure,
Is it me Or is it you
Who’s wrong, and who is not
What is true?
I want, for once, to understand you!!
