My Real Mind

Slipping Away

Posted on April 30, 2011January 21, 2018 by pranay

This post is dedicated to someone who changed my life.

I try to hold on
But the moments slip through
I want to hold on
But my mind is against you

I am sorry for not being
To walk with you
For leaving you alone in
the journey of life
It may be easy to tell you
all about it
But to feel it inside
brings me strife

For so long there was darkness
And for a moment there was light
A dying tree, devoid of love
Suddenly bloomed

But then there are trees
who will bloom but only for a moment
And then that love overpowers
And it will die still

If only for that one moment
I have lived
But i cant live forever
with you!
