Expectations

Posted on June 3, 2009January 21, 2018 by pranay

Havent felt like writing lately. Was reading down the memory lane. Found this. This one is one of my 1st writing when i was in Kota ( Rajasthan ), preparing for IIT entrance, around Sep 2004 i should guess.

Bundled up in endless joy
Trying to please you , god knows why
Trying to make up for what’s gone wrong
Trying to make this friendship strong

So give me another chance , a opportunity
To die without a regret would be a pity
To show what i feel for you
To let my emotions flow as they do

Sometimes i feel the world has shrunk
B/w you and me , no one
We would ..or maybe would be friends
But i know its a rare chance

I try to understand myself
Then i try to understand you
But i end up doing none
And wonder what to do

We cry , for sorrow or for joy
But i cry, for what i don’t know why
Is it for a friend , is it for sorrow
Is it for what i miss , or is it for joy

I don’t want to impress you
All I really want to do
Is to make myself a little clear
So please don’t tear
My expectations..
My friendship…
