Did I wake up? Am I asleep?
\nIt’s all so confusing right now<\/p>\n
I wash my face, I brush my teeth
\nAnd find myself in bed again!
\nIs this real? Or did I leave that behind?
\nI can’t make any sense, it’s all a mess
\nInside my little head<\/p>\n
How do I distinguish between these worlds?
\nIs she fifty and her spirit fifteen?
\nOr is she fifteen and 50’s the ghost
\nWho did I just make love to?<\/p>\n
The door is locked, the windows closed
\nYet the sheets are wet from the love that’s left behind
\nWhy did she choose me? Choose now?<\/p>\n
Reality consists of seeing, but it also needs feeling
\nBy the shore I see her, yet I can’t feel
\nBy my side I feel her, yet she is no where to be seen
\nWhat remains are strands of time, broken away<\/p>\n
Its the same each night, night after night.
\nAnd I cant move further, day after day.
\nUntil there comes that one moment,
\nsomewhere between the day gone by and night to come<\/p>\n
I see her floating by, this time I can speak
\nShe just says, time is but a circle
\nAnd so are you, but in two worlds
\nOne where you cause me, And one where I cause you<\/p>\n
I sleep that night, at peace maybe.
\nAnd I wake up too, to a real world.
\nThis time I see her and feel her on the shore, by my side<\/p>\n
There is a cost though, the one I pay
\nTo leave a world, forever closed
\nAnd Hence I live in this world,
