From the window beside the gate<\/div>\n
I can see Autumn walking in the sidewalk<\/div>\n
The winter follows behind, cautiously<\/div>\n
And i wait<\/div>\n
As summer walks out my door<\/div>\n
Autumn flashes a bright smile<\/div>\n
A smile kind yet naughty<\/div>\n
And i wait a bit more<\/div>\n
And now its autumn which knocks<\/div>\n
On the white door<\/div>\n
Waiting patiently for its time<\/div>\n
Which has finally arrived<\/div>\n
Once again she looks at me<\/div>\n
Her eyes glancing the mess<\/div>\n
Of misery and anger left over,<\/div>\n
Soothing me in her silent wind<\/div>\n
She whispers in my ear<\/div>\n
Be calm and be patient<\/div>\n
I will sort your life<\/div>\n
And things would be pretty again<\/div>\n
And she holds me up in her arms<\/div>\n
Soothes me with a song<\/div>\n
While she clears away the pain<\/div>\n
And roots out the misery<\/div>\n
I fall asleep in her arms now<\/div>\n
She paints the house happy<\/div>\n
And there is hope flowing through the pipes<\/div>\n
And then i feel low<\/div>\n
I wish she wasnt so good<\/div>\n
She comes, she clears<\/div>\n
She takes away my pain<\/div>\n
And each year passes away in a whirl<\/div>\n
And all she does is in vain<\/div>\n
