One of the most memorable part of watching Code Geass was this song. It just so happened that when the first season finished, I had a tune in my head of this song. But i could not point out where i heard it in all 25 episodes, and nor did i know the name of the song. So i like searched for it for 3 hours from 12-3 am until i finally found somewhere to listen it. I found out the name STORIES by HITOMI . Since this song, i have become a huge fan of Hitomi, and there is something about this music that takes me apart. Since then another 2 songs that have become my favorites are Masquerade from Code Geass, and Planetes ( from some other anime ).
I found the music of Planetes in a Youtube video, which had this song playing with the video of last 5 minutes of Code Geass R2. Suited so well, i thought it was from OST, but after much searching i did not find it. That’s when i looked elsewhere and finally found it to be from some other anime. You can check them out below:
This is the GTalk status of one of my friends:
I just fond it amazing. I cant categorize it into funny, emotional, geek, hilarious. But its good
“Whether u believe in parallel universe or not, I love you in every universe Ui where i=0,1,…,n and there exists at least one universe Uk where i expressed it 2 you“
CODE GEASS is what i watched last. It is among the few anime i have watched, being selective as i am a Science Fiction or Fantasy addict. It comprised of 2 seasons of 25 episodes each. It took me about 2-3 days to complete the journey of 50 episodes. And to sum it up in a single word Unbelievable. The whole anime was by far the best one i have watched and heard about. It was like a addiction i could not stop. Each episode let to something even better and new.
And then, when it finally ended, I was a broken man. It felt like that feeling of loss, of losing something you cannot ever get back. For this is the end, and there’s no way to go from here. The most touching reason was how it ended. It ended in a tragic ending, yet the good one. It’s the kind of ending you see very rarely and that too in anime. In movies, its always feel good till and after the end.
There comes a time
When you want to leave it all
Accept all the defeats
And remain Silent
Cuz Silence is your victory
To hear your heart beat for someone
To hear the faint ruffle, in expectation
To let emptiness fill you ear..
And still Silence feels like pure joy
Society. What is Society?
Wikipedia defines it as, "A society is a group of humans or other organisms of a single species that is delineated by the bounds of cultural identity, social solidarity, functional interdependence. In short, a place where we live by a given set of rules as designed by the group of people of Society.
The first question that pops to my mind is What led to those rules? How were they formed ? Were they just present or thrown from the sky by god? I guess, they were devised by certain persons or a group of people. So this leads to the understanding that Society is governed by nothing but the mindset , the rules, the thinking of certain select people and it is deemed correct for all to follow.
Why? Because it is considered that 90% of the people cannot live on their own. They need someone to lead them, someone they can follow. But we also believe that individual is unique and its possible t!
hat some rules are not possibly correct for him . Yet anyone who goes against society is branded an outcast. Lets take an example
Credit crisis has been the buzzword, if not lately, then about few months back. Now the buzzword is stimulus package and recession. Well that actually has been the after effects of credit crisis itself. There have been many who have tried to explain credit crisis, using hi level mathematics and english, that is beyond my comprehension. Well today i found a link to answer of the same question, WHAT THE HELL IS CREDIT CRISIS? And the amazing part is its a video, so much better to understand.
I liked it and its actually a layman’s guide to Credit Crisis. Its by Jonathan Jarvis.
I have been reading Coelho, Ayn Rand, Richard Bach. They appear to be very fulfilling spiritually, yet the questions still linger. Questions about God, Our life, Love and what god expects from us? and so on it goes. The fundamental axioms of life are things you have felt and yet don’t know why they are but THEY ARE . My fundamental axiom has been a supernatural power. Something that has been driving me towards my goals.
As Coelho said “When you want something from heart, the Whole Universe conspires in its favour ”
But still… I havent any answer to the question why we are born? Or why do we live? Or why do we have to exist doing routine things when we have to die one day..and whether we do or not do something , it wont really affect the world.
The last book i read was The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy.
Obviously it was a very acclaimed book, and winner of Booker Prize too. So there were infact a lot of expectations leading up to the book. Like perhaps it would be highly addictive, or amazing story, or something good.
But somehow, for me, the book turned out to fall way short of the hype that was around it. There were perhaps 2 major reasons why this happened . The first one was the content of the book. The story in parts was well written and captivating, but such parts very rare and random in the book. And for me almost half the book was skippable. In the sense, that if some incident occurs then 2-3 pages are spent in some totally random unconnected things, which even if you skip, you can understand what is going on correctly.
